Mohammed Bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia in a new interview on Al Arabiya describes what he sees as the problem with a majority of hadith which he says are not reliable for not having good chains.
The de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia said only few hadith have detailed chains of many narrators. Another number “Ahad” hadith have a single person ion the chain, and the majority which he says he cannot use for Shariah law have longer single narrator chains with unknown persons or breaks in the chains.
On Wahhabism, MBS said the Ibn Wahab himself would reject the continuous use of his interpretations, expatiating that the Quran transcends time and is open to continuous interpretation. Saying that no one now or in the past is infallible.
Much of this controversial discussion is viewed in this clip with English subtitles which is taken from the end part of the interview.
